A five-minute evening wind-down with Pip

A weekender bag packed for the evening

This is the routine we keep coming back to. Lowest speed, round head, sofa.

Minute 1–2: shoulders

Rest the round head on the top of each shoulder and glide slowly towards the arm. Breathe out as you go. This is where most desk days end up.

Minute 3: upper back

Reach over your shoulder and work the muscle beside the shoulder blade — not the blade itself, and never the spine. Short, slow passes.

Minute 4: forearms

If you type or scroll all day, this one is a surprise. Run the head slowly from the elbow to the wrist on the top of the forearm, then the underside.

Minute 5: hands

Switch to the cone head and gently work the fleshy part of the palm below the thumb. Then put Pip back on the nightstand — it looks good there.

Keep it moving, keep it off bones and joints, and stop if anything feels uncomfortable. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, check with a doctor first.
